Hey all,

Recently, I replaced the battery in my Maverick since it was constantly stuck in Deep Sleep mode, and I don't really want to get stranded on the side of the road.

So after a bit of looking, I pulled the trigger on an AGM battery, and I performed the BMS reset procedure as seen in the manual. I also left the Maverick locked for 8 hours to ensure that the computer relearned everything.

The next day, the Mav does not appear to exhibit any symptoms of Deep Sleep, as the interior/exterior light turns on when the truck is unlocked, and the battery holds a steady voltage between 13.0V-12.5V.

However, FordPass still insist that I drive the truck to exit Deep Sleep mode, which is what I did, but it never work. Out of curiosity, I headed to FordPass Connectivity on the truck's setting, and I was greeted with an infinite loading screen. I tried hard-reseting the infotainment system to no avail.

Does anyone else happens to have the same issue?

Not a very accurate title.

Not a very accurate title.
I mean, on the app, it's still stuck at stating I should drive the Maverick, and on the infotainment system, it's stuck on an infinite loading screen. Therefore, I feel like on my Mav, it's broken/bricked.

I still remeber the day when I picked up the Maverick, clicking on that screen works and it shows what device is linked/connected to the vehicle. 10 months later, and it's nothing less of a loading screen. Furthermore, pression the "Info" icon produce absolutely nothing at all, just a blank prompt.

I gotta say, that's a pretty impressive voltage.
Yeah, the new battery did wonder as far as holding voltage. Only annoyance for me is FordPass not working, since I occasionally used it to start the engine up.

Tom, I could be wrong, but it was my understanding the Fordpass Connect selection on the Sync 3 was for the optional wifi hotspot that was removed from most orders except the very earliest.

When I select mine I get the same endless loading screen, but my Ford Pass app on the phone still works correctly. I assumed that was normal since I didn't have the hotspot option.

Could you maybe try deleting the app, redownloading and signing back in?

Good luck.

Hey all,

I really appreciate the reply! I went ahead and reinstalled FordPass, hoping it'll fix the issue, but unfortunately, I have faced yet another roadblock.

On the "Home" page, it's completely blanked out, and the same goes for "Vehicle" page. Attempting to reload both page yielded no result (on the second page, it gets stuck in a loading loop).

I've never really seen anything like this until today, so yeah :(

Maybe delete the app, restart the phone and download the app again. Just grasping at straws here..

I wonder if you'll have to accept it in the radio again, like was done the first time your phone & app was connected to the truck.

I believe I saw an option for that when I was scrolling around thru my menu. The dealer did it for me the first time, after I downloadd he app and it was definately done in the radio.

Delete the vehicle from the app and re add it. I’ve had that happen before and that’s what worked for me.

Then the title should be My Maverick is Bricked, not FordPass.

That would have been my first thing to do.

Hey all,

Unfortunately, I still couldn't get FordPass to work. Here's what I've done so far:

- Remove vehicle from app
- Uninstalled the app
- Restart phone
- Reinstall the app
- Log in and attempted to activate FordPass access

As soon as I hit the "Activate Vehicle", a nofitication would pop up, stating that FordPass authorization has failed. I've tried redoing the steps again to no avail.

Guess I should give Ford a holler on Monday, but if nothing works, I'll just have to accept and live without it.
