Finally got off the phone with FordPass rep, and the agent on the line couldn't figure out what was wrong and said that the problem will be expedited to an back-end engineer.

Thinking about the problem, what if my ACM module was bad? Here's what I noticed:

- I couldn't update my infotainment firmware from home and the dealer was the only one able to do it manually. On the invoice, it stated my ACM had a U0255 DTC.
- The DTC went away and reappeared somewhere in November, right when I was dealing with Deep Sleep.

It's a speculation, but it seems somewhat connected?

Hey all,

Recently, I replaced the battery in my Maverick since it was constantly stuck in Deep Sleep mode, and I don't really want to get stranded on the side of the road.

So after a bit of looking, I pulled the trigger on an AGM battery, and I performed the BMS reset procedure as seen in the manual. I also left the Maverick locked for 8 hours to ensure that the computer relearned everything.

The next day, the Mav does not appear to exhibit any symptoms of Deep Sleep, as the interior/exterior light turns on when the truck is unlocked, and the battery holds a steady voltage between 13.0V-12.5V.

However, FordPass still insist that I drive the truck to exit Deep Sleep mode, which is what I did, but it never work. Out of curiosity, I headed to FordPass Connectivity on the truck's setting, and I was greeted with an infinite loading screen. I tried hard-reseting the infotainment system to no avail.

Does anyone else happens to have the same issue?

Exactly what AGM battery did you find that fits the Hybrid?? Hybrids are only shipped with standard flooded batteries.

When I replaced mine there were zero AGMs available that were a direct replacement and included the vent tube provision.

Hey John,

The battery in my Maverick is this one: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p...-ca-80-min-reserve-capacity-h4-xev/50001093-P

It is 99% the same to the OEM one, and it has the same spot for the vent tube.

Well, I am glad to say it is solved, and it was indeed a very stupid mistake.

While hooking up the sub, my dad took out the fuse for the Telematic Control Module (by accident or not knowing, I'll probably never know). After reinstalling the fuse, the previously broken Connectivity screen now works and shows all relevant data. Thus, FordPass now works again.
