This is really all I could find regarding the ambient light sensor. Ill keep trying but it 100% is different than the F150,F250

In addition to reducing the delay, I would also like to find a setting that changes how dark it has to be for the auto-headlights to turn on. When I'm driving at dusk (especially noticeable on road-trips), I frequently seem to be one of the few vehicles without their headlights on. It is usually a fair bit darker than I'd like before my lights come on. Sometimes, I cover my light sensor with a microfiber cloth (for cleaning glasses) to initiate the lights to turn on.

Same here.
The Maverick is the exact opposite that my Buick Encore was.
If a bird flew over and cast a shadow the Encore's headlights were on.

Hello, has anyone figured out how to reduce the time for autolight? I'm shocked with this 15 sec, on my previous Fusion it was 1 sec...

Vlad,
What trim level is your Maverick?
XL, XLT OR LARIAT
I have an idea. 🤔

To be honest my vehicle is Lincoln Corsair, but as I can see we have the same platform - Ford C2. I registered here because read a lot of good info about my car which you already tested on Mavericks. Lincoln is not so popular and people with Lincoln usually don't care about some minor features, but I'd love to do something))
Returning to our topic, on Escape forum I found asbuilt spreadsheet about all lines for Chinese Corsair BCM.
But, nothing about fast/slow raw for ambient sensor, like it was on my previous vehicle - Fusion, where I changed one parameter in bcm...

Not a fan of the auto headlights. They turn off and on when they shouldn't. My low beams are very bright. I have no issue turning them on manually, the few times I did.

I have no issue with turn on/off, usually it's OK, only one thing - long delay when I driving to tunnel or parking, 15 sec it's very long time and I can't understand is it issue l which occurs in several drivers or other 99% people from maverick, escape and corsair are fine with this looooooong delay, because I didn't find normal information how to reduce timing for autolight delay...

Not yet, we hit a roadblock testing all the variables with known names for the Body Control module, and there are at least several hundred more that we don't know what they do nor how they expect you to enter the values. Until somebody deciphers more of that, we're stuck.

In relationship to a Maverick XL or XLT.
Unless you manually change the setting in the options. (Not ForScan)
The default DRL's are low beam headlights. As a matter of fact. Each time after Ford did my recalls the DRL's were switched back on.
It is less of an issue for owners of XL or XLT trims who use their DRL'S. The headlights are already on, regardless if you go through a tunnel or a parking garage.

A Lariat has dedicated DRL's.
I really have no idea how bright they are or how much they illuminate for those 15 seconds.
Good luck

Hello, as I can see, the Corsair and Maverick are the same platform, and many (maybe all) values are the same.

Here are all the values from the Chinese Corsair BCM.

I put it as a code because the forum pastes the whole table in the message, not just a link.

Where change it? Dealer soft or you mean sync settings/instrument cluster?
XL and XLT do not have sync.
We have one step above Windows 3.1 😬
Instrument cluster settings we have in the XL and XLT is the option to turn daylight driving lights on or off. Those being the headlights. Those folks owning a Maverick Lariat, have dedicated daytime running lights. The dedicated DRL's that I have seen were nowhere near as bright as headlights. Tying to relate a Maverick to Lincoln might not be easy. Even though they are the same basic platform. Lincoln may have some proprietary software?

This is what I have for lighting options on my hybrid xlt.

Thanks for the spreadsheet. I have looked into the codes provided and unfortunately it doesn't contain any more info than we already had.

Hello, today I solved the problem on my Lincoln.
Maybe it will be helpful for you.

Try
726-11-05
5xxx

For my case (but it was in another bit position and before writing here I checked the Maverick spreadsheet), it was 3 by default (and as I can see different AB from different MY22-24 Maverick it's the same - 3)
I tried from 0 to 5 and only five helped me. I put the lamp selector in Auto, cover sensor by my hand, and whoa 1-2 sec - the headlight turned automatically
