Until people raise enough rukus with Ford over the bad dealers, nothing will change. Amazing how some dealers will bend over backwards to help their customers, while others treat you like crap. Fortunately, I was able to get one of the great ones.

Just how go about raising enough ruckus with them, I mean how to get to someone to whom it matters?

I don't know how much power Ford has. Should be the customers steering the market by avoiding bad dealers. My dealer was very helpful and honest: Willowbrook Ford in northern Illinois (Steve)
i’m waiting for a 23 hybrid. I’d likely to order a 24 hybrid. Most of us know little about the dealer we ordered from.
how are you to find out about a dealer the reviews seam to mean very little, People say anything based on their experience or they’re getting something out of it. I ordered from Beuckman in St. Louis called Saint Clair ford in St. Louis about 2024 no allocations again. You I don’t know much till they take the order ,so thats dealer any better because nobody’s better locations, issues ,not first in first out,

Think ,say one to north ,dealer gets truck load every day or so perhaps a week, Even if those retail orders where placed later,or assigned a priority code higher because well he has allocations ok!
Than dealer in in ā€˜the land of no allocations , so you kinda stuck
And my say this is not solely due to availability of parts
T build from.
Only as I understand ,I may be off on my views too
I do have transportation so I not bitter ,but helps to know beforehand somewhat ,what to expect , how to think to plan. šŸ˜ŽšŸ˜ŽšŸ™…ā€ā™‚ļø

I know. Unfortunately, even the dealers are in the dark and Ford itself seems to be kind of having a problem with internal communication and supply.
Word of mouth on this site and other internet reviews are the best we can do. Maybe gut feeling with personal interviews with dealers. Took me about 17 months to get my first Mav and I was stopping into the dealership every week or two (it was close to work). Sometimes I had more information than they did. Took only 6 months to get the second Mav so things are improving. Watch the fordvideoguy

Sold my 2022 Maverick XLT eco with 39,000 miles and 1 carfax to Carvana ($24,100)
Have my hybrid being built, BUT
Looking into the Colorado Lt or Trail Boss, beefier look.
At the end Ford dealership has given me a bad taste (see post Mall of Georgia Ford).
And if Chevrolet does not work out I have the hybrid or a flip šŸ‘
I wish Ford realizes when dealership treats customer badly, customers have no future loyalty with the brand.
I took my Carmax quote to the dealer and he upped his offer

I watch him ,it’s good informative, I know more than my salesman /dealer ,paint on info like Tim I applaud that, however I did realize after bit how self serving he is in favor of their dearship, I do admit it’s their program, taking in terms what they do ,what’s working for them.
alll is well for because they have allocation ,but that’s at their place,not out here fore most of us waiting
