I recommend the following: Soft bed cover . I have this on my 22 Maverick. I will install another one when I get my 25 Maverick next month. Watch for sales...I paid $480 last December.

If you bought your truck from Ford directly, you can use the Ford Points from the truck purchase to get the oem soft cover for around $150. It’s fine. Not great, but fine.

Whatever you get, get it from Truxedo/RealTruck. I have a soft tri-fold (which Ford likely bought from RealTruck, slapped a Ford logo on, and then doubled the price) which I like because it's very easy to operate, light, and easy to remove. I bought the TruxSport Soft Roll-up for my wife's Maverick because she just wants to roll it up, not remove it. It also seals to the bed/rails with velcro so it might keep a little more weather out of the bed.

Ford doesn't offer an OEM soft roll-up version, not sure why. But the recent snows we got made me like the tri-fold a little better: I bet the roll-up would have collapsed under the weight of some of the snow and ice we got in the Northeast recently (didn't even take the chance and just left it rolled up).

Have the Ford soft tonneau and it’s been great. Fits great does not leak and rolls back and closes very well. About $300 I think but I used Ford Pass points. It has the Ford logo on top of the cover.

I got the Ford one, mostly with Fordpass points. It is fine 2 years on sitting in the south Louisiana sun. It needed some armorall after 18 months.

OK.. Tonneau covers...
I bought a brand new GMC Truck 2500HD..Duramax diesel..6 foot bed. Took delivery the day after 9/11/2001.. it was a 2002 model.. I still own it.. I love to say, I still have 3 payments left.. but that's not true.. It has 236,000 something miles.
I have been through 4 sets of tires, 2 sets of brakes, a starter and an altenator. an idler pully - front end steering rebuild and hydraulic clutch cylinder in 22 years. Always Mobile ONE 15W-50... and repaint refresh a year ago.
Anyhow it's on its 3rd roll up Tonneau cover..... I remember the 1st one was a LUND. and it was like $300-400 in 2002 money... AGAIN I am on my 3rd one because I get an extra MPG on that diesel. Empty I get 25mpg highway..and it rolls up

Now comes my 2024 Maverick Hybrid Cowboy Edition...
I put on a tonneau cover.. I know full well they only last so long. I think they improve gas mileage, but on trips, I want to toss a bag or two in the bed, not the back seat. I bought this from Amazon. As far as I'm concerned same quality as that 2002 $300+ LUND brand.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZZ9PLFQ

$149 Free Delivery.... Now look on the listing -- they offer used every good condition or open box..

i paid $127 delivered for my open box and It looked new.. The box had been opened and re-taped.. it was obvious never mounted. Installation took me 15-20 minutes..

So why invest in $300+ for a name brand that looks just like this off brand cause in 5-6 years it will start getting tattered and is less than you insurance deductible if someone takes a knife to it.
