So this fell off today

Found this on the floor and had to figure out where it came from. Weird it fell off so easy.

And did you figure it out? Is it a broken piece or something that clips back in? And, what area of the truck?

If it is broke, it’s covered under warranty. Just make an appointment, that will be in 7 to 10 days. Drop your car off at 7am. Pick up at 4 pm. Let the service manager tell you the part is on back order and should be in, in 4 weeks.

Set up a 7 am appointment in 4 weeks. Pick up at 4 pm, and hope they did not scratch your door.

Or they call you when you are supposed to be picking it up from the parts replacement (after waiting 3 weeks for the part) to be told they broke the clamp that holds it on and is now unsafe to drive. A month later you are STILL in your rental that has to be costing Ford WAY more than that damn clamp!! And still they say they have no ETA for the clampm. Parts availability is turning out to be a problem for sure....

Ha, I ripped the air deflector on the bottom of the vehicle and their ETA was "there is no ETA."

The installer was probably taking a double shot of a tequila while putting that cover on.

I'm guessing it's not broken and the clips popped out. Going to try to snap it back in today.

Just surprised me to see a piece of plastic on the floor of the car but not a big deal

Got it snapped back in. First try thought it was in and pushed on the tab side and it popped out again. Pushed in harder and second time seemed to take and don’t think it will pop out now. Guessing factory person just didn’t get it snapped in all the way.

All good now!
