I have not even received mine yet and I’m already stacking parts. I should have one of the first 2023 models produced. I already received my 2022 vin but I was told that Ford let hertz snipe 150 trucks ahead of everyone who already had their orders in so I will be given “factory priority” according to my ford rep.

First thing is to replace the terrible stereo. Going kicker key 4 channel for front sound stage. 500.1 rear for a 10” kicker Comp RT sub and passive radiator behind the seat. Will add a 15ah lifepo4 battery to supplement power. Still debating on going with kicker CS components or Focal auditors. I know they are both entry level but it’s an entry level build.

Did matte black logos today. Happy with results. Pictures are not the best due to not willing to move the truck out of the garage. I didn't like the clash of the Ford blue and the A51 blue so did these. I ordered them by mistake, originally wanted the Ford logo in in A51 but I like them so will keep them. Did front, rear and steering wheel.

Chrome was a great choice on a dark vehicle. And matches the Ford emblem well.

It’s 2022. Synthetic is the standard.

I love the stamped look and couldn't wait to get it. Then, I saw the fill in letters, and it changed my mind completely. I am interested in seeing the chrome finished ones.

Matching the chrome oval around the blue one on the tailgate was the reason I went with chrome lettering. The 3/36000 warranty was just as appealing.

Pics won't do the letters justice. They sparkle from every angle. I can't wait for the first person to get the reflection when they're following too close in the dark.

I waited five minutes after the application to peal of the white film and polish the letters with a cotton cloth with firm pressure to work any possible bubbles out of the 3M adhesive on the tailgate side. I was already committed to hand washing my truck for life so pealing letters will never be a concern. Ditto the Dee Zee tailgate dampener so the letters won't pop off in cold weather.

@GaryHoosier the black background on the tailgate of a white truck looks great!

That's really unique. If it was done before and shared here, I missed it. Really like that look!
Thanks...you wouldn't believe how many variations I deliberated before going with this. I think it came together pretty well.
I also have the AirDesign HoodScoop, but am not sure about installing it. It's so easy to get carried-away with these "Personalizations", to the point they become wretched excess.
I'll quit while I'm ahead, LOL.

The soapy water is intentionally to prevent it from sticking. This gives you time to adjust the positioning of the decal. This is how advert decals are applied to race cars and the such. It lets you slide it around until it is in the perfect spot then you can squeegee the water out or just let it dry there
Don't even think about trying it without the soapy water...this adhesive is very strong, INSTANTLY.

Check through all the packaging one more time. That "I" would be easy to miss.
