I am so happy all of you could write a negative reply because I ask how much. And colini I don't think it was rude for be curious. But I don't live in the north or in another country where people like to criticize others

That's ironic. Every thread where someone modifies their truck, at least one person and usually a lot more when/if the thread gets popular, arrive to tell everyone they wouldn't do that, wouldn't spend that, they don't like it, and so on. It's many times worse when someone says what they've spent.

Doesn't matter if it's audio, graphics, paint protection film, anything. Let's assume you weren't going to do that. Someone would, that's why I commented on your question. Cheers.

Someone I worked with knew I was an avid EDCer and always had a light/knife, and one day they asked to borrow it real quick and I look at them like they were crazy. Not even my budget work EDC. Tell me what you want and I will do it lol. But I do enjoy the sharing setups with other EDCers. Especially the ones that do it for the insta clout and actually can't afford the setups. I'm like "you know there are tons of great budget options, right?" and even some of my favorites are budget setups. Kershaws for example... $40 knife. It breaks? get a new one. Break that Chris Reeves tip and you are going to be crying. Which is why some of those rarely get carried anymore lol. I broke one $400 ZT and thankfully they have replacement programs, but it's still costly. Warranties don't cover everything.

Anyways... /off topic rant
The knife I handed off was a Holt Haptic, the only reason I let him use it is because he specifically asked for a knife to cut an apple.

You're right that some of the budget stuff is getting REALLY good but I don't worry too much if an expensive blade gets a chip or I run it over a nail or something, they're made to be used. As long as I don't use it for prying I have zero concerns about breaking a quality knife; my Haptic, FIF20, Burger EXK and Shirgorov all see regular work carry and between them I go through literal miles of cardboard and plastic stretch wrap in a year.
I do keep a spyderco endura in my coveralls at work for any rougher tasks and a great big olfa-style knife with carbide blades that is my default loaner for random tasks because I'm not a complete fool.
