Smell in AC ducts

I think my wife's ex has poured urine down her windshield vent. It smells for about 10 seconds every time the truck starts and then goes away.

Any disassembly videos or tips for going in to clean the outside air inlet.

Yes, I have changed the cabin air filter.

Some are reporting that water leaks through the vent flap which fails to close completely on their maverick. A known problem. UsuLly enough to get carpet wet beneath the rubber floor mat if one is installed.

Any pictures or video of this flap.

It doesn't smell before the AC blower kicks in. And smells like sweat, not mildew.

I have checked all 4 doors and windows for leaks.

There are many products on the market that you can spray or dump down those vents to get rid of that smell. I was recently working on an old pickup that was overtaken by mice & their pee, most products helped, but the one that really helped was Simple Green cleaner, it worked better than any of the urine eliminators I tried. Just for future reference if anyone has this issue, I once used this product on my dog that was sprayed by a skunk & it worked great.
