I actually just bought an open box amazon cheapie tonneau cover to last until I save for a topper.

Probably the one I saw with the pull down drawer on the inside top.

I grew up when custom meant wild not just mil spec. The van I grew up in had tri-color/dual length blue shag in it! And blue lights!

I made some bed drawers from plastic storage tubs that go under the bedroom bed. They just glide on the factory sprayed bed liner and are still low enough that I can use most of my bed and use the tailgate 2nd position support for longer planks of wood. So far they have stayed clean and dry and secure.

I wanted to be able to store my tools and still carry full sheet of plywood. I had to trim the lock tabs on the three in the middle to get them to fit. If it wasn’t for the drop-in bedliner, they would probably fit as is. The tool boxes are about 1" proud of the 2x6 support for hauling 8' material; I'll layer some marine grade plywood to make up the difference.

Found someone who had a new, un-opened Ford Bronco rear draw. Got for a real good price and it fits perfectly in between the wheel wells.

My solution to my 175 skis that had to go in at an angle. $20 worth of 2x6 and 2 Yakima racks at $4 from a rummage sale.

Oh I really like that! Simple in design yet very functional. I don't suppose you would still have all the measurements for this?
