SHOULD I REMOVE 4K TOW PACKAGE FROM MY ORDER TO GET IT FASTER. THOUGHTS?

Keep it. Not something that is easy to add aftermarket. And I don't think 4k towing was on the restraint list unless I missed it. If you ordered a hybrid I would be concerned but all indications are that ECO Boosts are going to get built.

If you can get your dealer to set you to priority 10 definitely do that. It will only help change your place in the queue at your dealer, not in general but everything helps.

I saw a FB post last night where the poster claims his dealer offered to move him to 11 (not 10) if he agreed to pay $5k over MSRP. Can't vouch for whether that is true or not but hope your dealer didn't ask for something like that.

Keep it. I was a new order with FX4 and 4k (plus Lux, 360, 360+, sunroof so tons of things that could bog it down). I was scheduled week of 12/1 and am slotted for build week of 1/9.

Unless you need the truck right away (in which case you need to be looking at other options) I wouldn't drop 4k.

The 4K Towing Package is not currently on Ford's list of constraints for the Maverick. Standalone trailer hitches are, but the Luxury, Tremor and 4K Tow packages must have sufficient hitch availability to meet demand because Ford hasn't flagged them.

That said, no reason to take it off your order. I actually added it to my 2022 order a couple months after ordering and am really glad I did. The AWD Ecoboost with FX4 and 4K Tow is the most capable Maverick Ford offers in terms of overall performance.

That's my thoughts exactly and why I'm keeping mine.
