Should i change 22 xl eco to 24 xl hybrid

I'm curious about this. I ORIGINALLY had a COVP's order for an XLT Hybrid back in September of '22 but in October of '22 changed it to an XL Hybrid. I wonder if my private offer will be 2,750 or 3,400. My mav is showing 'in production' since last week and I expect to have it by beginning of May.

This is an interesting situation. Hope they do go by the original order and not the later change. Good luck.

I do love my eco boost, my wife has a 24 xl hybrid and she loves that. I have about three months before it comes in to change my mind back and forth.

I assume you have driven both the EcoBoost and the hybrid so I was just curious as to your impressions with each. I feel like I would like most things about the EB better other than like you said the mileage. Also I think it might be a bit interesting to drive on pure electric and do the whole try to get the best mileage you can thing. Thanks

I took my 22 eco in to the dealer to get a trade in price and they to me 20,000 which i thought was to low. The 24 hybrid hot pepper red is in production and john kennedy ford in pennsylvania will not honor the original order price because there is no 495$ hot pepper red charge. Has any one traded a 22 2.0 eco and got a low ball offer from there dealer?

So you're saying that John Kennedy haven't been very good to deal with? Just curious. I'm in Bucks county myself. Was thinking about checking them out. The closest one to me is Fred beans Ford in langhorne. I've heard a few better reviews regarding Chapman in Horsham

With my first order all went well and recall went well but new order john kennedy is not honoring original order price and gave a low ball offer on my 22 eco.

The eco came in first so i bought it; when the hybrid came in and when i test drove it; i was unimpressed, other than the fuel mileage. The eco is so much more fun to drive, so i declined the hybrid and kept the eco.

I think it depends on what your priority is; best fuel economy or fun to drive.

I'm hoping to test drive both. It's tough because I assume the eco will be a lot more fun to drive. And I definitely want that independent rear suspension, but some of the tech in the hybrid and of course a fuel mileage. Interest me more. I like the idea that it doesn't have direct injection with the potential carbon issues, the transmission looks to be dependable and while I don't like the CVT in my wife's Honda, I hear this one is a lot different.
