Short stubby antennas

Back in the CB craze, I had dual bumper mounted antennas on the back of my 57 chevy coupe that would drag on the canopy over the bank drive-thru. So I totally don't understand stubbies.

The stock antenna and radio are a tuned system. Shorten it by 75% and loose 75% of your receiver’s sensitivity.
It’s that simple,
Of course if your favorite channel is local and powerful you’ll be ok.

Should the same stubby antenna that Amazon says will work on 2022-2024 also work on the 2025? I'd like to assume that they did not change it but I'd also like to make sure
