Just happened to me too! I have the same thing showing up now on my truck as of today @ 2,600 miles. I'm on a road trip and 2k miles from home at the moment and here for another 10 days, less than ideal. Has your warning come back on yet after a reset? I've never had check engine lights come up on a car less than 5k miles before, worried what this means for the future.
It has not, and I'm averaging about 41 mpg on the GOM. So I'm not going to worry about it, unless the light comes back on. Stumped the Ford tech for sure. Had a check service light come on half hour out of town on a brand new Tacoma in 1992.

Just had this same error come up on my way home after purchasing my hybrid from out of state. Less than 700 Mi on new. Runs fine but the light stays on so I will take it in to for diagnostic tomorrow. At least I have my 17 yr old faithful crv to drive still 🤣

I got the same CEL. Something about the EGR. Dang man, not off to a good start. Still on my dealer filled tank of gas, less than a month into my ownership. My Toyotas had over 150k miles before a CEL was triggered.

Any issues since clearing or figure out what caused it? I just got it on mine after 850 miles while on a road trip.

I also got the same exact message around 800miles. Curious if anyone else has had a different resolution to this situation besides resetting and the light simply never appearing again

Having the same issue- also happened right around 900 miles. Trucks been in the shop since early Friday (currently Tuesday) and seems like they, too, are stumped.

I'm about 400 miles from home and considering asking them to clear the code, get home, and hope its the same issue the other few Mavs here have faced with a faulty code.

Any reason that would be dumb to ask the dealer (not where I bought the vehicle) to do as far as warranty/possible actual issues goes?

So, the dealer near where I was on vacation couldn't find the issue, we cleared the code and I drove it home.

About halfway through the trip, stopped for gas, and 30 minutes later the CEL was on again.

For what its worth, was driving at highway speeds, in ECO, with lane assist, cruise control, and air conditioning all on when CEL came back on. Since both time's I'd recently stopped for gas, my money is on the evap system but, if its not that and after stumping one dealer, my next guess software, so, maybe the info on other systems I was running is relevant.

Now that I'm back home, I'll take it to the local dealer and see if they have any luck. If that doesn't work, I'll leave the VIN/dealership info.

Bought the truck from a friend and don't want to cause him any problems 🙃
