service vehicle soon light code P0C4A

2023 Hybrid Mav with 8500 miles. The service light showed up with no notifications on the ford app, dealership said probably oil change due to miles. It disappeared before I could get it scanned. Then came back later the same day and had the ford app notification this time. When I got it scanned, came up with that code. Dealership is now closed so I can't get any information from them. Seems like a big problem because it has to do with battery cooling but there's no other lights or warnings. No effects to driving abilities. Do I stop driving it till I can get it serviced or let it slide being that it goes off and on?

I already got it scanned and have the code in the title as well as the picture of the scanner with the code in the post. It is P0C4A. Hybrid battery coolant pump control. Looking online doesn't show anything for the Maverick but does show some stuff for the Volt. There is coolant in the overflow between the high and low and it is warm but not hot so it is flowing.

I am not familiar with the heat exchanger issue, do you by chance have a quick link to that?

Their will be numerous threads/ post, click on the magnifying glass top right of forum screen type that term in and search. It’s what controls the heat/cooling of battery, may or not be related to your issue

Make sure both chambers of the reservoir are full. There was one member who had a leak in the HV cooling side of the radiator that had a similar code.

Had the same issue on a Hybrid Escape. They have a TSB for it somewhere, easy fix.

It usually happens on colder days, but can be solved by simply rolling forward then back, shutting everything off then back on. It usually fixes itself. It's just a miscommunication. Call your dealer and it should be fixed under warranty. Not sure if there is a recall on the Mavs for it (yet), but there was for the Escapes.

When your dealership opens, call, they should be able to see the code with your vin info and give advice

Both chambers are within acceptable level and the one closer to the firewall is the less hot one for the electrical system. Thank you for the idea

I highly doubt its that as ive been keeping an eye on the coolant level. Also I park in the same spot all the time and haven't noticed any leaks.

Easy fix as an software update? I really don't want to get into the waiting for parts at the shop for weeks like others are reporting.

That's what I am thinking since its not triggering any overheating lights on anything else. Definitely not colder days for me though, Florida and high of 85. The light hasn't been on today the couple short trips I have taken.

That's what I plan on doing. I just realized they were open today and I should have called but I assumed they would be closed all weekend. Something, something, making an a-- out of myself. I appreciate all your inputs
