My XLT Eco F4X says: SERCICE REQUIRED! The point being, she has only 179 miles on it!!! I'll take her to the dealer tomorrow.
Anyone else had this problem?

Wow, at 179 mile I guess some weird things can happen. Now, if that were 1,179 miles on vacation with the family at night, that display would have been a crap my pants moment.Mine did that on the way to dinner. After dinner there was no fault. Hasn't come back in three months. Don't forget the first 1,000 miles or so your are to expect random stuff to show up. Hope it clears for you before you have to take it in.
I took it in and the Service Adviser said he didn't know what to do since when I brought it in, it didn't say: "Service Required"...he then took it to a mechanic to have it "reset" whatever that means. He said next time it happens to bring it in immediately. Interesting, so if I am 20 miles away from the dealer I should bring it in...I hope it won't happen again. Other than that no other problems. Though the dealer I ordered it from had 4 Mavericks, two were Hybrids. One guy ordered it and he hoped he could afford to by it, his next step was the Finance Manager. His Car was black with steely wheels. Another guy, bought an Alto Blue Hybrid, fairly well loaded with 18" wheels, it was used. There was also a Hot Redd Pepper XLT. A couple of days ago they sold a White Hybrid. Never seen that many Mavericks at a dealer. So far, the only Mav I saw on the road was an Iconic colored one; looked great.Mine did that on the way to dinner. After dinner there was no fault. Hasn't come back in three months. Before the mechanic reset it what did the code say?
I do not know there was nothing on the screen.
Unless you need to get an E-Check before you can renew your plates.NEVER clear the codes unless you are absolutely sure the problem is fixed.
Don't think it will repeat. One of those glitches. Stuff randomly pops up for a while then things settle out. I wouldn't worry.I took it in and the Service Adviser said he didn't know what to do since when I brought it in, it didn't say: "Service Required"...he then took it to a mechanic to have it "reset" whatever that means. I do not know if there was a code, if so, I was not informed of it. The mechanic had the truck for about 4 or 5 minutes. It's possible that it was a glitch. If it happens again I will let you know.If the message said service required it must of set off a code. The mechanic plugs in a diagnostic tool into the Ob2 port and can read the code then look up what that code was. Maybe it is just a glitch and he reset it.
Is it squeaking and popping? That's a well known issue. I have it as well.I did 615km remote start sputter remote start sputter 3 times. Key start it and it threw engine/awd service required reduce power. Even sent it to the ford app called the dealer booked an appointment the wrench went away and they said it was nothing unable to replicate. It was running fine so who knows. I also had the dash screen and lights flicker up and down it was after it sat in the rain. Went away when I blasted the heat for a while. I also have a squeeky front window now as well kind of annoying.
