He's used to the boomers that clutch their pearls if you don't change the oil after the first 1000 miles. Not sure how that's late getting your 1st service - unless you mean the list of 6 month checks to be done per the manual.

Throw my hat in the ring. Yes, I have had my 2024 Maverick since 2/4/24. I have received these scams since about 2 weeks out and do still get them every couple of weeks. Like you I wasn’t sure and called my dealership and they confirmed it was a scam. I even went to the dealership and had them pull up my service contract so I could see it just to makeI've had my 2024 Lariat Hybrid now 8 months and I'm at 2300 mi. YES I'm late at getting my first service (but I now have an appointment next week). But I've been getting these FINAL NOTICES and wondering if they are scams. Thoughts???![]()

Iam 65 and went by the factory recommendation for first and subsequent oil changes at 5k. I also have been driving for 50 years and never rotated a tire. I might do RDU and tranny fluid change around 60k.He's used to the boomers that clutch their pearls if you don't change the oil after the first 1000 miles.
Usually "FINAL NOTICE" is a tip-off that something is a scam. They are trying to rush you into doing something without due dilligence.I've had my 2024 Lariat Hybrid now 8 months and I'm at 2300 mi. I get about 2 per month, some in my name and some in my wife's name. It started about a month after I got the truck, they make it look so official, what a waste of paper.same experience.
