Nice, I still need to do mine. Got some pretty high quotes so I’m going to try to do it myself as well
I paid 55 cad for the pre cut film

Good memory, I was just being facetious with that guy as you could keep on going and going...

But yes I did get it cut from my buddy in Xpel ultimate. It's the only piece I installed myself, came out decent but it's a flat panel with only a little curve at the top! Everything else was done professionally
How much for your buddy to mail the precut full front end to Massachusetts?

Why stop at the headlamps?

I did full hood, full fenders, bumper, headlamps, mirrors, a pillar, roof, tailgate.....

lol.
It would cost too much. Not wanting to do full protection. Only needed the front when I’m traveling or doing road trip. That was my main objective.

You have to find someone local to cut it - way cheaper than the XPEL site.

And so this is the reason the other guy didn't do as much as you then? You missed my point.

I don't know much about doing PPF by yourself, is it safe to do outside (dust/pollen/leaves a problem?) or is a garage required. We don't have a garage but can borrow a relative's, assuming I ever get the Maverick.
Lots of spray will help eliminate all dust particles

Decided to try 8mm PPF order to protect portion of the hood from flying debris. Not easy job. Took an hour but it's done. Covered 12 inches max at the center and about 4 inched at lights. I spent about 30$ on all of that. self healing meaning if it gets scratched.... It will self level it self with the heat.

Looks good. I really wished someone would offer a clear bug shield for the hood. I would have it painted on the backside to match the truck. Just don't like the black or smoke colored ones. Just doesn't look good with so much black on the front.
