41MPG with that ICE/electric mix is excellent! I've found once you go past 60-65, it's hard to keep the mpgs up.

Was that via the 80 and the 880, or did you go over the Altimont pass via the 280/580?

Pretty good for a hybrid. Truly if you keep the mph in the mid-60's you can get close in an ecoboost. Sacto-SanJose must be down hill... I'd like to see the results of an ecoboost AWD/FWD(both). I expect offroad or all-weather tread pattens would do worse.

Can't wait for my hybrid to come in. I get about 21mpg on my daily Castro Valley-San Jose commute now down 680. The evening commute has so much stop and go, I figure it will be just like city driving
