Has anyone on the forum ordered the Rugged Liner drop-in yet? I haven't been able to find any reviews. It looks like a pretty good fit in the pictures, and the list price is substantially cheaper than Ford's official DIBL ($250 vs. $400+).

I hope you don't mind I jump in with another question if so let me know I will remove my post.

Do drop in bed liners cause the bed to rust out under the liner? I am in NY were they use salt on roads. I would think spray on is safer for rust . I wont order my 2023 mav with either afraid it will slow delivery down.

I pulled my DIBL and had Long McArthur put in an SIBL. There were no problems with the DIBL, I just prefer the look and texture of the SIBL.

DIBL is for sale here in Central Kansas. Will make you a good deal!

In my experience here the bed is just as likely to rust out from underneath at the cross supports before rust at the floor on the top becomes a real concern. And being a unibody that'd mean likely the rest of the truck's structure is shot by that point. We've got some 30+ year old trucks in our fleet that've had DIBL so long the plastic has worn out from use but the bed is still sound underneath.

The only circumstance I might be reticent about is if one were regularly splashing caustic chemicals since the DIBL is multi-piece and could sneak underneath, but that's pretty niche.

The low price caught my eye, but I can only find one place near me that is a dealer. When I used google street view I found a rundown old garage that does not look like it sells truck accessories.
