After reading about the possibility of tariffs raising the prices of everything Maverick, I decided to purchase a tonneau cover. I did my research by reading through all the threads on this forum and chose the Rough Country hard trip-fold. Ordered it for $615.96 four days ago and see that it has since risen in price to $699.95. Good timing! Received it today and installed it in about 20 minutes. The install couldn’t have been easier. The only thing that was maybe a bit difficult was separating the paper backing of the foam strip. I wasn’t sure how the cover would work with the bed divider and cargo management system, but no problems at all; in fact, I have two extra cleats (4 in all), so it makes it very easy to attach the tie-down straps when needed. Can’t wait to go out on my first drive with it tomorrow.

I really like your cover! I had ruled out the trifold cover until I talked to an owner about times when it’s folded up and blocking my rear view. He told me that it’s actually a non issue with a camera and side mirrors. Plus it folds all the way up, so you get all the room in the box for hauling things. When my truck comes next month, I will be ordering this cover.

I was just about to write a review! I installed mine yesterday and like you said, it couldn't be much easier. It came earlier this week and I had been waiting for a break in the weather. The box was damaged (FedEx) and I sent them pictures, but the top itself was fine. All parts included. The instructions were a bit vague in places, and were generic with only one reference to the Maverick. But a couple of videos are available on YouTube, including one from Rough Country. Oddly I ordered before you did and the price was $699, but the other tops I was looking at were much more (over $1000). Shipping was free. I have no complaints with the quality. It's solid and looks well weatherproofed. I would definitely buy from them again!

Wondering how well it keeps the dust out? Dirt roads and dust is so invasive...

I like mine. installed one on my 24 XLT.
price is right.
sealing ability is ok some water after the car wash but I think extra effort sealing could help.
I would buy it again.

Yes, my impression is that the tailgate is the weak point for weather sealing. I don't think this particular top is unique in that respect.

I do like mine though. Ended up using the adjustment knobs on the center clamps and then removed it to be able to use the cargo rail. Also removed the RC badge but that is something I do with most things and its just foam taped on anyhow. There was also a good idea I saw in an install video that I went with. Use the extra bit of the weather and adhere it to the bit of the trifold that will lean against the 3rd breaklight.

We don't get water in ours, but the dust is awful.

Did you get the low profile version or the regular version? I'm looking to pick one up this week, but I'm deciding between the two.

Wow a hard tri fold that folds all the way up against rear window for under a 1000 was not heard of before. Better times in 2025. No way back in 2023 when I got my Mav.

The low profile doesn't fold up all the way against the glass. But it looks like both of them are about the same height. Give or take a fraction.

I like that there is some space between the cover and the glass when upright.
