Hello, everyone! Long time lurker here. I finally received the confirmation that my 2023 Hybrid (original order date Oct 2021) is being built! I had an original scheduled build date slated for October 2022 that was pushed to November 2022 and then pushed to two separate dates in December 2022 before it was eventually transferred to a 2023 order. My question is, has anyone experienced the same and had any luck receiving the rollover discount? Because I had a VIN/Build date before the cutoff, I was initially told I didn't qualify. However, since the rollover, my Mav has jumped nearly 3k in price and is quickly approaching my limits in pricing before even adding on dreaded dealer fees/add-ons and taxes. Thanks for any insights!

TLDR; Did you have a late rollover to 2023 that you were able to still qualify for the 1500-2250$ discount?

I will give you my two cents, don't quote me on anything and realize I am in your same shoes. I ordered Oct 1, 2021, went thru the same ordeal had a schedule date Oct moved to Nov then Dec. Found by calling Ford support in Dec. they said my vehicle was moved to 2023. I then called latter in Dec. to ask what they knew about my move to 2023, they said they had a special offer certificate for my 2023 Maverick order worth up to $2750. They were even able to get me the certificate number. You will need this because this is not connected to your order and the dealer has to look it up, not just automatic and some have more problems then others.

So call the Ford 1-800 number for order updates ask them the status of your order and if they can give you your Special offer certificate #, I have called them once a week and every time they give me little more good news today they said mine is built expecting delivery Feb 8 thru 14.

To the next story, I am going to talk to my dealer who has not been the most helpful tomorrow to try and get this all set up so there is no surprises, will see what happens. I feel like I should get paid some time as much work as I put in to getting this Maverick.

Wish you luck! I think if you call you will find out you have a Special offer that should help with the increased price hope it all works out for you .

Thank you so much for your insight! I had just received the news of my order from my dealer today (after I probed him). Mine has also been less than helpful. I'll give the 1800 number a call tomorrow to see if im able to get it as well. I'll provide an update as soon as possible. Cheers to us for the patience it took!

Your "rollover discount" is what Ford calls a "Private Offer". There are probably over 100 threads on this subject on the this Forum For some, there have been no issues. For others (like me), it has become more and more frustrating as no-one at Ford or the Dealer cares to do anything to ensure the Private Offer is "found" and then "applied" to the order. Best of luck to you (you will likely need it).

Your should get that "Model Year Transition" private offer. Have your dealer check and see if they can see the certificate number. It will be easy for them to check. Out small dealership only had one customer affected like this. I was able to confirm his private offer in November.

My dealer has had issues with my private offer also. He said there is an IT computer file issue with Ford NOT matching up the names and addresses properly. He agrees I qualify for it, but also won't sell me the truck for 1750 less as he's not sure he'll get the rebate $. He has been at least updating almost daily - no update except that Ford is working on it. So here I sit now while my new truck is in the showroom.

Yeah, I can understand why he'd want to make sure you have the certificate # before giving you the $ off. He may never get it otherwise.

The other option would be to sell to you as is, and then work to get you the rebate later, payable to you. But you then risk never getting the money yourself (and the dealer doesn't have the same motivation to keep following up).

It sounds like the dealer is doing the right thing and researching it for you, and holding the Mav for you as well!

I see you are in Buffalo, was there a while back for a Navy reunion at the USS Little Rock which was a sister ship to mine. Will be back again in '26 most likely.

Yes, I'm in a rural area SE of Buffalo.

That's cool! I've walked by those ships often. Took the tour once a long time ago. I'm sure you've heard that had to do a lot of work to keep them afloat.

Hopefully you'll be back!

Mine got built today but it's pretty much the same. I got my certificate # and gave it to my salesman and now he's having trouble applying it. SNAFU

My dealer said the same thing, but I just went ahead and called Ford at 800-334-4375 and asked them directly. Ford provided me with the Transitional Private Offer certificate #.

UPDATE: Called the 1800 number. They essentially said that because my order was rolled over until Nov 14th (Oct 1st was the cutoff date), they didn't have a private offer for me. They stated that I would need to go through the dealership in order for them to apply for Ford programs on my behalf.

Interesting… I was a 2021 order with VIN that rolled over to 23MY. When tracking my order on Ford’s site, it says my order was confirmed 11/14/22, but I got a private offer code from 1800 number.
