Reschedule Friday?

I have been rescheduled 4 times so far, plus the original scheduling making it 5 scheduling emails. I noticed all my reschedule emails came Friday evening. Anyone else notice this trend? I'm almost afraid to check my emails every Friday now!

First confirmed date received on a Thursday like most. First schedule change on a Wednesday and second received on Friday.

I've received two rescheduling emails so far. One last week, and one tonight. Luckily they have pushed my production date up a week each time and not delayed it. Original build date was March 7th, now its Feb 21st!

At least you are heading in the right direction! My progression has been Jan 31 to Feb 21 over 4 reschedules

I stopped trying to figure out Fords scheduling methodology... At this point my conclusion is their planning department is made up of a random number generator.

I received a reschedule email last night as well. From March 28th to now March 14th. Original scheduled date was Feb 28th so at least we're headed back in the right direction.

It is fairly normal for rescheduling to happen a few months out. Stock and retail orders switch scheduled weeks all the time. With parts shortages and supply-line issues due to COVID, it has been happening even more!

Same generator that keeps sending me calls about extending my truck warranty. They come from everywhere—Virginia, Arizona, Florida, Michigan

Yes the 2 Evil Emails I've gotten both came on Friday

No day is safe. My last delay email arrived Saturday evening. Someone in schedule land is working OT (or just taking perverse pleasure in sending out notices over the weekend).

My Maverick has been rescheduled three times now! My order for an XLT hybrid was confirmed on Aug. 20, 2021 and my first build date email came on Jan. 20 and the truck was scheduled for Mar. 7, then on Jan. 26, it was changed to April 4 and yesterday, Feb. 4th, the build date was changed to Mar. 21! As long as I don't get a cancellation email, I'll be happy!

My first production scheduled email was on 12/2/2021 with build week of 1/31/2022.

It has changed four times since that first email ! One email change improved the build date and the other three emails moved it later.

I've had a Monday and Wednesday rescheduling emails thus far, both of which were in the same week. Since my truck is currently slated to be built next week (week of 2/14), I'm expecting more delays this week. Well, either that or it'll be built then head to the rot lot for 3 months.
