Replacing speakers in Hybrid XLT.

Has anyone replaced the 6 speakers in their Mav? I went on Crutchfield and found sets of Kickers to fit and want something that will really hit.
I read that the amp in behind the backseat has an effect on the radio/screen., so I want to make the right pick and choices.

I want to hear your experience, specifically others that have replaced their speakers in the Hybrid XLT variant.

Your post is a little confusing because you mention replacing 6 speakers (which all
Mavericks have), but then you mention an amp behind the seat.
Do you have the upgraded B&O 8 speaker system and just replacing 6 of 8 speakers?


I am in a similar situation.

I have been reading through many stereo upgrade threads here on MTC.
(search for "kicker" specifically to narrow results to brand you mentioned)

I have been watching many videos on from folks who have done it on a Maverick.
(search "maverick" and "Kicker" and take the "videos" option in search)

I'm the audio vendor here so please feel free to reach out with questions. If you have the amplifier in the back that means it's the B&O system and there isn't any easy way to improve the audio until you bypass the system using either a NavTV or PAC unit. I have both in stock.
