Replacement rear view Mirror. Help !

I know there has been a lot of threads regarding this …. I am new to this forum and have tried to read all before I asked this question . The kia cheap one is long gone for me …. So what other ones will work with the maverick .

does the GNTX-453 work ? Please let me know who as added the upgraded mirror and what model really worked !

Almost any model of Gentex Auto Dimming mirror will work, from an electrical standpoint, they work on their own with no computer input from the vehicle. The important part is getting one with the correct mounting hardware. If buying a used mirror just make sure it's in good condition.

what is the correct mounting hardware ?

You need to look at the mirror in the Maverick and compare it to the one you are looking to buy, unscrew the mount from your truck and look. Take pictures if buying locally so you can compare. As for models, no I don't have a list of compatible mirrors.

If buying for homelink, you need to make sure that model will work with your garage door opener/gates.

Good question. I also hate the cheap rearview mirror. I just started looking at options myself.

This is the one I replaced mine with. It is a frameless autodim from the 18-22 mustangs ,exponentially increases the field of view. Definitely worth the upgrade
