I picked up my Area 51 XLT Hybrid in April and it has about 3,000 miles on it. My only complaint is the size of the rear view mirror. I don't think it is large enough, I can't see out of the entire back window. Obviously, that is a minor compliant and one I can easily fix by replacing it. That just shows how much I love everything about my Maverick. It was worth the 9 month wait.

A lot of people find the mirror to be small. I don't think there's any problem with it though.
You can find a few threads about swapping it out if you want to.

I had the very same impression when I picked up mine. Not just small but in the way. I moved it around snd after few months I totally fine with it.
I wonder if this is your first truck as in my case?

I don't find it to small but seems low like in the middle of the windshield. I did move it up as high as it goes but still to low. Not a deal breaker.

I've tried several panoramic mirrors on cars. Nice that you could see the side windows, but just couldn't get used to the way that everything is shrunk in size.

I found these flat glass mirrors. They aren't panoramic so the cars behind you are normal size. As a result you won't be able to see out your side windows (at least with the 11.82" version like I got), but it is a nice upgrade to the factory mirror. You can see the entire rear window. Also the image is cleaner/brighter than the factory mirror.

Whoever owned my Maverick first, had a Homelink mirror installed. It doesn’t seem small. However, I saw an entry from another Mav owner suggesting removing the rear headrests. Since I have no one riding (and no prospects) in the back, I removed the headrests and now have much more visibility out the back. (I’m storing the headrests under the back seat in case I ever do need them😁)

That's what I'm doing also. And the other cool thing was, a poster said the mirror is on a articulating arm....no chit...heck ya i moved that sucker right up as high as i could go. Full vision under it now. Obviously I'm in pimp squat so F.O.V even better.

Removing the rear headrest was the first thing I did to my Maverick. Did the same thing to my Rav4.

This is what I replaced mine with. It's a frameless auto dim for the 18-22 mustang.. Exponentially increased the field of view
