Replace lariat keyfobs with remote start fobs

Hello all, we just received our 22 maverick after 11 months and found out on delivery that our salesman forgot to check the lux package. The dealership is getting aftermarket heated seats installed for us but one of the things we are missing is the remote start on the keyfob. Do any of you know if we can just get replacement fob with remote start since we already have everything else?

And yes i drove my Chevy to go pick it up mostly cause our salesman is very salty that ford stopped making the baby diesel for the f150

I don’t think it’s that simple. The key is tightly married to the truck and replacing it is an expensive proposition.

You can remote start your truck using your phone and FordApp though.

Ford Perimeter Plus Vehicle Security System does add official Ford remote start to your key fob. Others have installed it on their Mavericks.

Use your fordpass rewards points to get the perimeter plus security system which should give you better security as well as remote start using the keyfob that came with your Maverick.

As an alternative, you can start your truck from ford pass app - although I would agree its not as comfortable as pressing the button on the key remote.

Really appreciate the feedback i got s hold of the salesman this morning see what he can do for me. For now she’s using the phone app at least ford doesn’t charge a fortune like Chevy does. I’m going to look around on the forums for some ideas on bed lighting since we also didn’t get the option like we were supposed to lol. Overall the wife is very happy with the truck shes a nurse and went from a expedition el to a Nissan rouge to make hospital parking easier but quickly realized that was too much of a downsize the maverick is perfect size for what she wants to do. That’s again for the info
