Have a work tote bag that apparently had a pen sticking out of it, and it drew little patterned pen ink hieroglyphics on my passengers side seat (Lariat with the brown/tan center faux leather). Any suggestions on removing these scribbles without damaging the material?

Try some isopropyl alcohol AKA rubbing alcohol. Even hand sanitizer may work.

A friend of mine used vinegar and a magic eraser on her car and got ink off similar seats. It wasn't a Maverick though so I don't know if the material is the same . Maybe try it in a spot that's not very visible first.

If you google “how to remove ink from faux leather” you’ll find a bunch of ideas but rubbing alcohol and vinegar is a common thread.
I agree - whatever you use try an inconspicuous place first.
Best of luck 👍☺

Used to get ink stains on work shirts. Used hairspray and they came right out. I would try on out of what spot first but hairspray is a good ink solvent.

Note that hairspray does indeed remove ink from fabrics but only if it is used as the first choice. Aqua Net brand worked great when I needed to remove an ink stain from my ski jacket.

YMMV on the faux leather.

Ford's ZC-14 spot and stain remover is amazing.

Most common ingredients in hair spray include:

Solvents
Most of a can of hair spray is filled with
solvents like ethanol and isopropanol (rubbing alcohol)

Plasticizers
Esters of adipic acid and citric acid are used as plasticizers in hair spray

Silicones
A synthetic polymer that helps smooth the hair cuticle and retain moisture
Fragrance
The exact combination of ingredients that make a product smell a certain way is often a trade secret

there is no hair spray magic
