I have a 2023 Maverick XL Hybrid with aftermarket remote start-x installed. Start-x operates if you use it in a short time frame such as a few hours after having driven it or started the vehicle. However, after sitting overnight, in the morning it will not remote start. Afterwards, I can then unlock the door and get in and start the vehicle and get out locking the doors. After doing this, the remote start-x works. Why does Start-X only work for a short time period and not the next morning? is there changes I need to make in Forscan?

as a wild guess, it's trying to get power from a circuit that shuts off some period after turning the truck off, rather than an "always hot" line. hmm, probably wants, "always hot unless in deep sleep".

I would suggest you contact Start X.

My Start-X system still works like normal. But I've never had any deep sleep issues.

Sorry, I can't confirm this one. When leaving from the house, if I remote start I just use the app. I mainly use Start-X in the parking lot of various stores.

You also have a hybrid. So, you might need someone with a hybrid and Start-X to chime in.

Exact same experience with my Start-X.
I believe the issue is the drainage of the 12v battery overnight to where it goes in sleep mode and prevents the remote Start-X from starting the truck. Before even installing the Start-X, I replaced that 12v toy battery with a real AGM 760 CCA. I been in email contact with Nate @ Start-X and he doesn't have an answer even after I did all of the suggestions he made, the issue persist. The battery drainage/sleep issue fix will be out next year when the Ford engineers come out with a update to the trucks ECM (computer) or control modules.

I do not have the problem with Start-X, nor do I have the battery sleep problem. I was replying to HolyCarp's post.
