I have a '22 XL. I have a recall notice for brake lamps staying on. If I have the recall done ( I have no issues with brake lamps staying on ) will I lose my cruise control and a host of other software modifications?

Why, does Ford use so much software and Toyota have plug and play?

You might. If you do, just reprogram it.

I had that recall done on my '22 XL. I didn't lose cruise control, but I lost the extra drive modes (mud/ruts and snow/sand). I hadn't done the speed sign recognition at that time, so I don't know about that. I just reprogrammed the drive modes with Forscan and was good to go. Did the speed sign recognition at the same time.
