I brought my truck in today for an oil change etc. Also issues with seat belt monitoring. Resulting in no aorbags acc ass. The dealer told me the recall is on hold. Also needs a part for the seat belt issue that they cannot give me a timeline on. Sorry but I never heard of a recall on hold. Sales process there was great but do not liked being lied too.

My last car was a 2009 Ford Fusion which had fallen under the Takata air bag recall. I traded it in last year and that recall still hadn't been completed as our dealer hadn't received replacement parts. Like virtually all manufacturers, Ford does not build each and every part on their cars - they assemble vehicles with parts made by hundreds of different companies. In the case of the airbags, Takata was one of the few manufacturers worldwide - so parts were tough to come by.

Yeah but this recall was for software. Only thing I can think of is because the seatbelt is bad they can't do it.
