Why?
Well my front strut tower brace made my awd mav feel so much better and the front feels stable and stays level in turns, but my rear flexes and I ca feel it leaning more back there. I live by closed mountain roads that nobody is ever on and my friends and I send our cars down it.
Thank you, i wonder what my options are now like maybe attaching a quick release metal bar across my truck bed above the shocks to stiffen it up mounting it with like tow hitch pins so you can still use the bed???no rear struts, shocks
As others have said, an upgraded sway bar should handle the job. There are a few makers out there, so make your choice on which you want. It will definitely help.
Isn't that going to unbalance the vehicle and make the rear end a whole lot more twitchy? Normally (unless you are a rallye driver) you would pair up a stiffer rear swaybar with a stiffer front one in order to keep the balance neutral.
I’d start by looking at the truck instead.
Front struts are a integral part of suspension geometry. Suspension travel arc is defined partly by their attachment points, and caster/camber. The rear arc is defined by control arms with the rear shock being just along for the ride, doing little more than dampening wheel movement. The rear shocks are as far outboard as possible, a good thing. Stiffening the upper shock attachment will do little/nothing for your intended purpose. Some tweaking is possible with rear camber bolts.
