Rear Camera recall

Just had an update for my 2024 Mav. Never had a problem with the camera freezing but had them install the update anyway. After the install the shifting of the transmission had a marketable improvement over what it had been. The throttle response and the acceleration were a huge improvement. Almost acts like it is in Sport mode.

Anyone else seen this?

I'm going to bet no one has seen an Audio Control Module software update improve anything with transmission.

I am going to bet that if you weren't aware of the backup camera recall and module upgrade - you were probably unaware of other upgrades or recalls that were due on your truck, and those happened too during this last visit.
And one of those made a change resulting in the difference you notice now.

Or placebo effect.

I had my recall fix and my 10k service done yesterday. I honestly didn’t notice any difference in those things or in even in my camera performance.

I agree that just a camera fix would not change anything with the running gear. However other upgrades would have done so. How to keep up with the upgrades? I have always taken it to the dealer for recalls, but I was unaware of any programing updates.
