Totally agree with the vacuum scratch issue. Also, try having 2 boys in baseball that wear cleats. Unfortunately my Lariat has a ton of scratches on the plastic. Looks terrible. Anyone know if we can buy the replacement plastic parts? They look like they would be easy to replace. I also saw a video on YT of someone using a heat gun to fix the scratches. Not sure if I am brave enough to try it.

The dash and interior front door on my vehicle is textured plastic or vinyl. This shreds and embeds any paper towel, wet or dry, and snags and grabs at microfiber. I literally cant clean this krap. What have the rest of you had good results with ? Thanks !!

Yeah it's almost like they tried to simulate some sort of woven material. It's a big FAIL if you ask me. And that's the main reason it scratches, or mars, so easily. The only thing that might work on that stuff is an old fasioned chamois cloth, which is non-fiberous.

Any ideas about protective film to cover vulnerable areas?
super good idea for the lower door pocket areas - very easy to kick/scuff there with your foot. and definitely behind & below the seatbelt.

you can remove or at least reduce a lot of these scratches with a heat gun or hair dryer. check youtube vids & practice on something less noticeable before you try it on your dashboard.
