Visiting Turks & Caicos this week and I Spotted a few of these driving around.
This one was parked so I got some pics.
It’s branded as a Ram 1000 Big Horn. Left hand drive like in the US unlike most of the micro cars and light vans I’ve seen around. Here they drive on the left hand side of the road.

This car definitely seems solid and safe like it’s a candidate for approval for US roads.

Anyway this seems like it will steal some of the Hyundai SantaFe’s market since it’s more car-like than the Maverick but that tailgate is going to make a lot of people that get these for grocery shopping give it a second look.

Looks like the Santa Cruise, I also think it only has a 1.8 l engine so a bit under powered for most of the US market

Santa Cruz competitor if there ever was one. If I cannot afford a real truck I at least want my little truck to look like a truck. That thing looks like a ........... well, can't say we have ladies present here. :ROFLMAO:

It's also much smaller.

The "van-like" curves and loamy profile will be a turnoff I think. They could re-package it maybe. Looks more like an open back town&country than "a beeg ol RAAAM pickup"

That's my snap take at least

I really don't like the SUV look that most cars (including the electric Mustang) have.

I generally like Ram trucks. I don't care for the styling of this particular one. It does look a bit like the Santa Cruz, which is a negative for me. My wife likes the look of the Santa Cruz though, so? To each their own.

The tailgate, if it opens sidways like two separate doors, I definately wouldn't like. I feel the tailgate design like the Maverick has is useful as it acts as a bed extender when open. I don't see enough advantage to the sideways opening design to warrant changing that. Unless I'm missing something? 🤔
