Anyone having issues with rain water getting in the cab? We have had lots of rain over the last few weeks in Northern California. I have had water just inside my right rear passenger door on three occasions. It collects just inside the door on the side of the seat. This happens just sitting in my driveway.

Are you sure this isn't from when you open the door? It is a known issue from the very beginning of Mavericks arriving that the angle of the top of the backseat doors causes water to run back towards the truck after and/or during rain landing in the spot where you have pictured.

Have someone sit inside and use a power washer or good hose and nozzle. You’ll save a headache and be able to show the dealer the leak. They just say “can’t simulate”

Hello, Ron! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this leak concern. Thanks!

There have been a few people that have encountered this specifically with the rear door. I don't think there's been a comprehensive report of what the issue is, but generally seems to be the vapor barrier or some interior drainage element being mis-installed.

I don’t believe it is. It is about 6 or 8 oz of water pooling inside the recess next to the door threshold. I think it’s collecting over time.

Yikes! Taking mine in tomorrow to the dealer.

Did you ever figure out where the water was coming from? I'm having the same problem.

My driveway has about 15-20% incline from the road down to my house. When this was happening my Maverick was backed in. So the rear of the truck was lower than the front. I have been pulling into the drive forward since taking it to the dealer and it hasn’t happened since. The dealership and I were unable to reproduce the leak with a hose.
