Radio changing sources

My '23 Maverick Lariat changes radio source on each start up. I have to go thru those numerous steps each time on start up. Worked fine for months, now it almost every time. I have done reboot, also am current on software. Any ideas?

I’m not quite sure what you mean. My 2023 has started to act kind of strange. Every time I start the engine, the radio is tuned to the first preset, no matter what it was when I shut down. It has some other problems as well, like locking up occasionally. I have an appointment at the dealer for a recall and for them to look at this problem.

I, too, have a 23 Lariat. No problems at all until about a month ago, when it suddenly started doing the same thing. I turn it off listening to an XM station and the next time I start it, it's on an AM station. It doesn't do that all the time, just about every other time. Last week, my Mazda did the same thing. I'm wondering if it's something going on with the satellite signal. I haven't had recalls done, but I have an appointment to get them done this afternoon. I'll let you know what the dealer says.

Mine always changes to the oldies station. I just thought the truck was smart enough to know who the driver is.

Same here. I have a '24 Lariat Hybrid and every time I start truck it's on AM, which is nothing but static. Have to wait until it cycles through all the start up that Sync does and then change back to Sirius. It's just so annoying to have to go thru this at every start-up...and if you let someone else drive they get lost trying to get radio away from all the noise from non-existant AM signal.

Therefore during sunspot maximums, the Earth will see an increase in the Northern and Southern Lights and a possible disruption in radio transmissions and power grids. The storms can even change polarity in satellites which can damage sophisticated electronics.

My Hybrid Lariat has been doing the same thing as well as getting an occasional blank screen that requires a soft reset. I updated the Sync software via usb and the last channel selected now resumes on restart. Hopefully the blank screen issue will be resolved as well.

Adding to the complaint of changing stations on startup with my 23 Lariat. It just started this week. Either changes from XM to FM station or to XM chan 0. Has anyone found a solution?
