When I bought my 2023 the salesman specifically cautioned not to use Armorall or similar products. He said use only a clean microfiber cloth dampened with water. Nothing else.
BE PREPARED! You're going to be the most popular guy around. I took my little Mitsubishi Mighty Max sport pickup to Germany while in the Air Force in the '90s. Everyone wanted to borrow it or, worse yet, wanted me to come and haul their stuff.
Enjoy!
I had a similar tire problem several months ago. The steel s-hook on a heavy duty bungee cord embedded itself in the center of the rear tire after hitting it with the front tire which threw it up against the side of my truck doing $2,000 worth of dents and paint damage. I plugged it and held...
Distance to empty will also climb if you've been pulling a trailer and drop it. It's calculating the distance remaining based on the much lower mpg when pulling the trailer. Once disconnected, the mpg goes up to normal and the distance to empty gradually increases as the average jumps up. The...
I have had the same mirror for over a year and am very pleased with it. Looks and works great with no wiring necessary. The only downside, the internal battery is not replaceable. When it runs out of juice in a couple of years, the mirror must be replaced. Hopefully, they'll come out with a...
I have a 2023 Ecoboost with the 4K tow package and have no trouble pulling my 8 foot tall X 12' interior length single-axle powered parachute trailer at 65 mph. I used to pull it with a 2001 F-150 with V-8 and 4WD. The Maverick pulls it MUCH easier than the F-150 did. You should have no problem.
Back in the '70s when vinyl roofs were all the rage, I drove through a similar park. I only lost my radio antenna, but the monkeys went wild over every car with a vinyl roof. Not a single vinyl roof passed through unscathed and most had all the vinyl totally ripped off. The park said they...
I, too, have a 23 Lariat. No problems at all until about a month ago, when it suddenly started doing the same thing. I turn it off listening to an XM station and the next time I start it, it's on an AM station. It doesn't do that all the time, just about every other time. Last week, my Mazda...
My nav system did that a couple of weeks ago. After entering a new destination and letting it go through to the end of the route, it started working perfectly again.
"Pretty good" ain't good enough! I want mine to be as bright as possible. 'Ever run up on some idiot with blacked out tail lights in dense fog? It might not happen soon, but there's a rear-end collision waiting in the future.
The OP only blacked the backup lights. Have you ever followed someone with darkened taillights or brake lights through fog? They definitely increase your chances of being hit from behind! They are popular, but a really dumb idea!
I see a lot of not-very-old cars and trucks with rusted out fenders and bumpers. I'm a lot more worried about the nasty effects of road salt than I am almost unnoticeable swirl marks. Mine gets frequent washes that includes a good strong underbody wash as often as it needs it to continue to...
After a quick hose & soap wash, I dry them and then hit them with a quick wipe with Meguiars Quik Detailer and they look like new. They don't get slick like ArmorAll would make them.
