I’m curious where in the process your truck is to being delivered to the dealer/how long it took from scheduled date to departure of manufacturer. Trying to get an idea on how long I should expect to wait. I know it varies depending on state but to hear some stories would be helpful. I’m starting a new job that will require me to travel a fair bit so any info will help greatly. Thanks in advance!

Average is 4 weeks from the time it is manufactured. Southwestern states usually a bit less. Northeast....plan for at least the full 4 weeks. This assumes it gets on a railcar fairly quickly after production and then is picked up from the final destination rail yard by an automotive transporter fairly quickly. Either stage can add significant delays.

You’re a lifesaver. That is very helpful. I’m receiving it at long McArthur so I’m trying to plan my roadtrip or fight there depending on what they look like on price and a few other factors. I’ll just be safe and expect 4 weeks if less I’ll be pleasantly surprised

Well you came to the right place then. I got a 2023 from them and have a 2025 on order. Ours might arrive at the same time and we will see each other there. Feel free to message me if you want to know any tips and tricks.

Here was my timeline for my 2023 going to Long McArthur.

"Big things are happening right now. We are excited to let you know your 2023 Maverick XL SuperCrew has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of May 8, 2023."

Then on May 12th...

"Great news! Your 2023 Maverick XL has been built. We are performing some final inspections on your vehicle and getting it ready for shipment. "

Then a while later when I checked if it was put on the rails yet...

"Thank you for your patience. I show that your Maverick is in transit on Railcar # TTGX697259 (Ferrocarril Mexicano S.a. De C.v. ). I show an ETA of 05/23/2023-05/29/2023. The date ranges provided are the ETA to the dealer and subject to change depending on the capacity of our suppliers.. My best recommendation would be to stay in touch with your dealer for more information and updates on the status of your order."

Then as you can see in my signature line, picked it up 6/15/2023. I don't recall exactly when it was delivered, but it was at least a few days earlier since I had them do a spray in liner at the dealership and I also needed to fly in on a Thursday due to work commitments.

But......there might be a hitch for our 2025s. Tim was told by Ford that there will/might be a hold on them after production of a few weeks before they ship them. So the 4 weeks might be more like 8. Or 10....or who knows.

I ordered and put a downpayment on my XLT May 18th. The build start date was July 15th and we picked it up from the dealer August 10th. This was in Greenville, SC.

Assuming it will ship to the KCMO rail yard, it may take a while. L-M's sales person can give you a better idea.

My truck was shipped to the KC rail yard, where it sat for 3 weeks before a semi picked it and other vehicles up and delivered it to my dealer in NW Arkansas.

Your delivery time to L-M may vary from mine, possibly significantly.
