Quality of Spray in liner from factory?

My Ranger's factory liner is thin in spots, I can see paint through pinhole sized holes where it was sprayed thin....and it's peeling in one spot.....I'm guessing they don't sand/scuff the paint before spraying it.
That said, it's better than a plastic drop in one. Those should be banned IMO.

My '22 Lariat EB was the "base" Lariat so no SIBL. I showed my local LineX dealer that Ford charges $495, I would pay him $500 cash. They coated the top rail under the rear window and the entire tailgate.

My '24 hybrid Lariat came with factory SIBL. I was so surprised the factory SIBL didn't coat the top rail nor the entire tailgate. I think you are better off going directly to LineX.

I had Rhino once but the dealer closed so I have used LineX on my past 3 trucks and really like it. After it ages the gloss is gone. You can touch up paint spills with flat black from a spray can.

How far did you have to travel to find a Line-X dealer still in business?
A lot of Line-X dealers have closed because of the parent company becoming greedy and changing the franchise agreements.

At least you still have a Line-x dealer that's "local".
