Proof of oil change!

That's 12 years worth of filters for me . multiple vehicles and Mav is averaging about 3k miles a year . don't know if I will be here in 12 years (74 years old) . I change oil once a year or 5 k miles on all my vehicles . oil filter and Mobil 1 oil . always synthetic .

I have three vehicles and two mowers that take this filter, so it won't take that long for me.

I have three that use the the B2.

As a side note I just figgered out to reset my oil change monitor. Sick of looking at the "oil life 5%" warning after changing the oil a few weeks ago.

I thought that thing was supposed to read the condition of the oil then report it... another huge disappointment in my life!!!!

Yeah, I have two that use the B2 but I'm stocked up for a while on Wix 51515.

Welcome to the world of Algorithms. I miss analog gauges. I am always thrilled if I see them in new cars. I call digital gauges "too late" aka idiot lights because by the time they light it's too late to mitigate the problem.

No gauges are truly analog anymore, even the ones with needles. They've pretty much all been digital for over 30 years.

True, but they're not actually analog. These are all the gauges from my other vehicles. They all are digital gauges, meaning they display based upon the speed and rpm that the computer is feeding them. I know, I'm picky with the semantics I haven't owned any vehicles that don't at least have a dial speedometer:

How would it read the the condition of the oil? Did you think there was a built in oil analysis lab in your Maverick?

There are some that read the opacity of the oil and trigger a light when it gets dirty.
