Can you replace the stock rear view mirror with a programmable one on a 2023 Lariat Hybrid 2wd?
Is the wiring in place?

Assuming you are referring to to an auto dim or Homelink type mirror, there is no plug and play harness to connect to. However, many owners have successfully installed them by tapping into existing wires that are there.

I bought a used mirror that went to some non-ford vehicle. I did have to tap into some wires where the mirror mounts. I did not find a plug and play solution at the time. I have a 2023 Lariat Hybrid. The mirror works well. It can be programmed for two different garage doors. It is auto dimming and has the direction I am driving in the upper right corner. Well worth doing.

I wish I would have bought an extra one when I bought the first two for my Maverick and my dad's Lincoln Corsair. I was shocked how much they have won up since everybody started installing them.

Thankfully I found a really nice used one on eBay with everything for 30 bucks shipped for my teenagers 2016 Chevy equinox.

Yes, I did mine. Ordered the new mirror directly from the manufacturer who makes the mirrors for Ford. All you need is a wire that provides the electric power. Had it installed by the Geek Squad at Best Buy

First thing I did was Install a Gentex Auto Dimming with the Homelink. Bought parts & made the wiring adapter while still waiting for my 25 Lariat to be built. Ebay NOS mirror was $ 30.00 ish delivered (don't remember exact cost). Programmed all 3 Homelink buttons for Doors & Gate. One of the best things I have done. The Auto Dimming in itself is the main reason I wanted this. Works perfect

They have a Gentex mirror and a pigtail that replaces the OEM mirror, and, plugs and plays right into the roof liner light besel wiring next to the windshield. I purchased both and installed it in my '26 Mav Lariat Hybrid. Note: could also buy a used mirror too.

I bought two used mirrors and didn't care for how they looked and eventually also purchased this one. I didn't buy the adapter and just used wire taps. Phone app makes programing the mirror incredibly easy.
