Production time

Anybody have any idea if Fords production time line is ahead or behind? Anybody have a production date moved lately?

My truck was scheduled back in June for the first week of August. Received notice that it was built last week and shipped so it seems they are on schedule. No dates were moved for me. Just seemed like forever since the April order.

Way back when you would walk into a dealer, and special order a new vehicle, you were told eight to ten weeks for delivery. There were very few new cars sitting on lots like there is today. Auto makers are probably producing a lot more vehicles today to fill custom orders as well as dealer orders so wait times are a little longer than they used to be, for sure. Twelve weeks or more have probably become the norm.

April order, built this week middle of August. Delivery by end of August to Sacramento CA area.

I had an original build date of 7/20, which was moved to 7/23. Maybe because the 20th was on a weekend
Mine has been shipped and has an eta of 8/22- 8/28.

One month for shipping ETA is pretty good. If it gets to the dealer then of course
