Production Purgatory

This is my exact status as well. They tell me that it’s in production, but that it is produced, and give me an estimated delivery date. When I ask if it’s shipped they say, “no, it’s still in production.” When I ask how they are able to give me a delivery date then, it’s like dear in the headlights.

The entire thing is entirely non-sensical.

I don't have a delivery date. That "end date" is the last day it could still be in production. I bet that's not true.

This may all be 100% beyond Ford's control. With lock downs in China for Covid over the last month or two, maybe parts aren't being created and shipped. That's Ford's (and our) problem, but it's not Ford's fault.

Maybe they're giving the Hermosillo plant workers a couple of well earned weeks off.

I am thinking it will be July or later before I see my truck. May 2 scheduled, May 12 "in production". "We will continue to keep you informed regarding your vehicle's production status" Um nope!

July sounds about right. Mine went into production May 16th and Ford chat said it should be at the dealer July 5th. I have a feeling it will be more like end of July but we will see. Also I'm guessing the information for the 2023s should be out by then and if they have some nice changes then may be I will just pass on the one I ordered and order a 2023 in August.

This reminds me of seeing the ultra sound from my children. My modules are alive so there’s a heartbeat. Another couple of weeks and I hope to get contractions meaning my baby is coming.

My "baby" took 3 days short of 9 months from order to delivery. Very happy that she's "healthy".

That's f#@?ing ridiculous. FE or not, there shouldn't be any June orders left unfilled.

I hope this month is the last of the June orders. I’m one of those but mine is being produced. I’m told it’s built just waiting to be put on the rail and shipped.

Ok great I may call my dealer tomorrow to see if it’s still gonna happen soon. I’m told by the end of next month I should be driving my truck please god let it be true.

Yeah I would call - The Ford tracking website is delayed- Ordertrack app should tell you status- Mine went from in production to in\transit is some weird ok whatever love it way

Status updated to built! Originally a 5/9 build week, 5/17 date on the tracker for in production, now 5/24 for built.

Same boat but my production date shows 5/18 and not a built day stamp yet but dealer gave me a rail car # so I am heading down to meet at the border to load up that under rear bench storage with Mezcal -)

Mine too. I’m not sure if that is the date it went in or completed the initial production line.

Build week: 5/9/22
In production date: 5/13/22
