I had the same exact problem. I couldn’t get it off for love or money! Coincidentally I went to the dealer for my scheduled maintenance a few days later. I asked if they’d change it for me. They did and didn’t charge me extra.

Fo the life of me I can not get the Driver's side marker light off in order to swap with an LED. I was able to replace the passenger side by going thru the wheel feel area. The video I saw on F150LEDS.com on how to remove this side marker light make it look easy. This thing just doesn't want to come off and you can't access it from the behind. Any suggestions?

Same problem a few days ago. The computer mounted there makes it nearly impossible to get your hand inside.
We ended up popping out the housing using a screwdriver with electrical tape wrapped around the blade and first couple of inches. The trim tools we tried weren't stiff enough to pop it lose; they kept bending as well and losing leverage.

In reality, you'll be struggling and swearing. I thought I'd be smart and use a pick with a curved end for more leverage. The plastic marker housing is tougher than the soft bumper material and using a small diameter tool will cause the tool to push into the soft bumper on your brand new Mav.
