Private Offer In Smart Vincent By Now?

I contacted my sales rep and apparently the only person at the dealer that can look into this is the GM(???) who of course wasn't there... How long should I wait before I reach back out to them? I don't want to bother them, but at the same time, I want to make sure this gets resolved before the truck actually arrives.

As I mentioned Tuesday, as long as you had a COVP approved 2022 order you would be eligible for a private offer. If you had an approved order and the offer is not showing when they pull it then the dealer needs to reach out to the Inventory Specialist to match up the private offer with their order and put in the correct address so it will show when they pull it again. I've had good luck getting these fixed. I just gave a list of 29 to my Inventory Specialist on Monday to do the same.

Thank you Tim. My truck finally arrived, but the dealership claims they have been unable to reach their rep to get this corrected, saying that the reps are backlogged, short staffed, etc... The dealer mentioned something about potentially getting a check from them at a later date, but I don't believe them and don't want to deal with that. Any help would be appreciated!!!

@fordvideoguy I listened to the recent podcast. You mentioned someone in a similar boat that I'm in (truck arrived,but no private offer) and that you're working on getting an exception. Can you keep us posted on how your Ford rep is handling that? Also, if I give you my zip code, do you think you could look up my inventory specialist? This has been such a frustrating experience. @Ford Motor Company needs to do better with their customer experience. It shouldn't be this hard for both the dealership and customer.

I can only see the KC Region and I will not give out our Ford reps information to customers. Hope people understand that they are already swamped with dealer calls and emails and having customers contacting them would be a major problem.

Please keep me updated on this process/situation so I can share with my dealer (if necessary) on how to resolve it. I'm sure others will be in the same boat now that trucks are arriving at dealerships.
