Ordered on Oct 10th , put a deposit down, and then MSRP increased $100.00 on website build on November 7th. Curious what I'll be expected to pay, yes I know it's only a $100 increase.

I think it depends on the dealer. I placed two orders. The first dealer never mentioned what happened if the price chanced. The second dealer placed the order 8-9 months later. He printed it out and said that’s the price even if there would be any change. The second order arrived first so that’s the one I took delivery on. The original order came in a month later.Ordered on Oct 10th , put a deposit down, and then MSRP increased $100.00 on website build on November 7th. Price Protection only applies to the original customer and that is with Ford pricing, not the dealer and any mark-up they did.I don't know the present situation but you should ask the dealership for clarification. I paid a lot more (~$3,450) than what the price was when I ordered it, or more correctly, I took over an existing order a customer backed out on in Nov of 2021. I found I had no price protection at all right up until the last price increase in January of 2023. Between the two dates, there were multiple price increases, a model year change that repackaged options for more money. Lariat hybrid picked up in June of 2023. It was a decent bargain when my Lariat hybrid was ordered, but that bargain evaporated over the two model years. Not unhappy with the vehicle, despite its glitches, and I found the attitude was similar from another dealership for a different brand of vehicle Quote: you pay the MSRP marked when it arrives or someone else will take it. This transpired during the covid years, so options were limited![]()
