Pre-Order Questions

Hello,

First of all, thanks for making this cool site with all the helpful community members! I had a question about the pre-order process last month. I missed out on last years run so I was prepared this year. Over the summer, I went to a local dealer that I felt they had the best reputation for customer service and met very nice salesman.

We discussed about pre-orders and he promised me he would reach out to me about the next wave . He followed through and I gave him my build sheet and pertinent contact info. He contacted me the day before Pre-orders and said he will process in my order. I contacted him on that first day and he said it's processed but I have not gotten any type of email about the transaction.

My question is I have not heard from the dealer or Ford about my pre-order. Is that normal or should I be getting at least a confirmation email from Ford saying they received my pre-order? I don't want to sit around thinking I'm on the list when I'm not at all. I'm not the type that calls every week wanting an update.

It is a potential issue, but not necessarily for sure. Get with your dealer for your build sheet with Order Number and Sales Number. Then get with Ford chat to confirm its in the system. Lots of posts on this do some scanning in the orders subforum.

Yes as stated above you need to get your order number and dealer code from your dealer, then you can call Ford customer service or use Ford chat. Just ask them to update you on your order. Ford customer service number is 1-800 334 4375.
