I ordered my maverick last week. I still have not received anything from Ford. I spoke with the dealership and they said Ford still hasn’t picked up the order yet. (this was as of Saturday)
I don’t believe this dealership would do this, but I have heard of dealers marking up on orders. They deal I was told was the order price plus $1000 for add one they do for every vehicle.
My question is this: should I have received anything from ford by now? Also, the dealer provided me a receipt deposit but kept the forms I signed. I’m nervous that they could bump up the agreed upon price. What should I do to protect myself from this happening? Also, should I request anything for verification of my order?
