Pre-Collision Warning

Twice now in two days the pre-collision warning shows up on the screen before entering a tunnel. I don't know why that is but it is startling. If it were to be sustained does it put on the breaks? I have a hybrid XLT. Has anyone else had issues with the Pre-Collision Warning? Thanks.

Go to settings and check what the sensitivity is set to. It might be at HIGH. If so, adjust it to LOW or NORMAL and see if it still does it. It's under Driver Assistance.
